Mrs Tope Omage
Mrs. Tope Omage enjoyed a distinguished 35-year career at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), culminating in her historic appointment as the first female Director of Finance. During her tenure, she also served as Director of Branch Operations, overseeing all 37 CBN branches nationwide. Her expertise spans Finance, Audit & Compliance, and she has continuously enhanced her knowledge through executive programs at prestigious institutions like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and Northwestern University. Mrs. Omage is a fellow of multiple professional bodies, including ICAN, NIM, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and has actively served on various ICAN committees. She is also a published author, pastor, and sought-after speaker.
Since retiring from the CBN, Mrs. Omage has remained highly active, serving as a non-executive director at First Bank of Nigeria Limited, where she chairs three board committees. She is also the chairman of Novelty Healthcare Ltd and a member of Women in Mining, where she established the Edo State chapter. Further, she is involved in consulting and event management, and leads an NGO, Heritage for Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative (HEfWAYE). She serves on the advisory boards of three schools and is a life member of WIMBIZ. Mrs. Omage is married with children and enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and empowering women and youth
