Tersoo Aga
Tersoo Aga is a multifaceted expert, offering consultancy in mineral exploration, processing, and mines evaluation, alongside underground water development, gemstone faceting and trading, and environmental impact assessment. His academic credentials are robust, including a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology and Mining from the University of Jos, where he graduated at the top of his class, and a Ph.D. in Economic Geology/Mineral Exploration from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. Currently, he is finalizing an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and Management from ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja. Dr. Aga's professional affiliations are extensive, encompassing Fellowships and memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Chartered Institute of Corporate Administration (FCIA), the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), and the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG). His contributions to the field are further evidenced by over forty peer-reviewed journal articles, editorial roles in several books and journals, and authorship of "How to Facet Nigerian Gems." Beyond his technical expertise, Tersoo is actively involved in community leadership, serving as Board Chair for several non-profit organizations and as a leader of the hiking group, The Wayfarers of Jos.
